… after Tokachidake my knees were still in surprisingly good shape… so I decided to go for Sandanyama as well to make most of the day. There was solid snow cover all the way. Just make sure that you don’t take the summer path but follow the snow fields. The climb should not be underestimated… but the view from the top is quite stunning 🤩
