中禅寺山
社山・半月山(栃木,群馬)2026.07.11 (土)日帰り朝起きて、「今日は女峰山に登ろう！」と決め、準備をして霧降高原へ向かいました。 しかし、到着した時には駐車場が満車でした。到着が少し遅く、駐車場に入るために約30分待ちましたが、予定を変更して中禅寺エリアへ向かうことにしました。 前回は半月山に登ったので、今回は半月山には立ち寄らず、半月山展望台駐車場からハイキングをスタートしました。 中禅寺方面のコースはそれほど大変ではなかったので、「もう少し先の社山まで行こうか」と考えました。しかし、時間があまり良くありませんでした。社山まで行って戻ってきた方々に「この時間では道路の通行止めに間に合わないかもしれませんよ」と教えていただいたため、今回は阿世潟峠まで行って引き返すことにしました。 天気は晴れではありませんでしたが、曇り空で涼しく、ハイキングにはちょうど良いコンディションでした。 We woke up and decided to hike Mt. Nyoho. After packing our gear, we headed to the Kirifuri Highlands. Unfortunately, we arrived a bit late, and all the parking spaces were full. We waited about 30 minutes hoping a spot would open up, but eventually decided to change our plans and head to the Chuzenji mountain area instead. We had already hiked Hangetsuyama on a previous trip, so this time we didn’t spend much time there. We started our hike from the Hangetsu Observatory parking area and continued along the Chuzenji trail. The Chuzenji hike wasn’t very difficult, so we thought we’d continue a little farther toward Shazan. However, our timing wasn’t ideal. The hikers we met on their way back from Shazan told us we probably wouldn’t make it before the road closed, so we decided to turn around at Asegata Pass (Asegata-toge) instead. The weather was decent not sunny, but pleasantly cool with cloudy, gloomy skies, making for a comfortable hike.
