Reconnaissance bike-ride through the backcountry hills of Uji.

2020.12.24(木) 日帰り

In the not too distant future I am planning on hiking in this area, following tracks hiked by other 'YAMAP' users. There is one track, not hiked by anyone, that I was unsure of. Today's reconnaissance bike-ride was to check-out that track.

Torii, entrance to Sarumaru-jinja.

About to leave the sealed road and check-out the first track of the day.

Recently a fellow 'YAMAP' user came through here. I plan to use the same route.

On route-242, and the junction with the track I want to explore. If you are planning on coming through here on your bike, then I suggest you don't. As the following images will show.

On the other side of that fence is my sealed road, but the gate was locked on the other side.
