Our original plan was to hike Mt. Gozaisho today and try the Naka Trail for some rock-scrambling practice. But since it’s rainy in Shiga today, we changed our plans and headed to Kagawa instead, where the weather was much better.
We were looking for a mountain with a bit of rock scrambling and ladders, and Mt. Goken came up at the top of the list.
So glad we decided to come here today! It was a short hike, but definitely a fun and exciting one. There were lots of ladders, and honestly, some of them were pretty scary for me! 😅
There was also a section of the trail that had been eroded by a landslide and probably that’s the reason for the restricted areas.
