Start: Research Park Nishiguchi bus stop🚏 Finish: Hayama 2-chome bus stop 🚏 I cancelled my plans for Himejima today, because I was warned the winds in the forecast could cause the ferry to be cancelled. I didn’t have much time to plan another trip, but I had been thinking about the Munakata area. It was a good plan B because it can be reached quickly on the express bus from Tenjin. I hadn’t really researched the area, so I didn’t really know what to expect. I was surprised how wonderful Gongenyama was. The trails were great, and the summit was fantastic. There are several varieties of cherry trees on the summit. Some were past peak, while others were still in full bloom. The views were great too. With lots of flowers covering the ground, it was a beautiful location for a springtime hike. 今日は姫島に行く予定でしたが、強風でフェリーが欠航する可能性があるとの予報だったため、断念しました。急ぎで代わりのプランを立てる時間はあまりありませんでしたが、以前から検討していた宗像エリアへ。天神から急行バスでアクセスが良く、良い「プランB」になりました。 あまり下調べをせずに訪れたのですが、権現山の素晴らしさに驚きました。登山道はとても良く、山頂は最高でした。山頂には数種類の桜があり、見頃を過ぎたものもありましたが、満開のものもありました。眺望も良く、地面がたくさんの花で覆われていて、春の山歩きにぴったりの美しい場所でした。
