I usually take walks in the fields and mountains to observe insects such as dragonflies, hornets, and butterflies. During the off-season, when there are few insects to be seen, I train to maintain my physical strength. The main training location is Mt. Goi, then Mt. Tobone has also been added. Mt. Goi is the highest mountain in Gamagori City, whose height is 454 m. And on the summit of Mt. Goi, we can see a spectacular view of Mikawa Bay. To the north, you may be able to see Mt. Ontake, Mt. Ena, Mt. Hakusan, Mt. Ibuki, and the Southern Alps. Although there is almost no view from Mt. Tobone, whose height is 439 m, it is an interesting mountain. Originally, I mainly trained at Higashi Mikawa Furusato Park (Mt. Tohmi), but when I was planning to climb Mt. Goi, I did some research and found out that there is a smartphone app called YAMAP. It will be in use on February 7, 2022. I hope it can be used in many ways.
