ハイキング

Today I headed to the Ishibitsu bus stop using the no. 40 bus from JR Futsukaichi station and walked up to Togami Shrine 砥上神社 to start my climb of Togamidake.  I spotted a few locations along the way to explore. At the base of the mountain I walked around to an ancient tomb. There are a few on this mountain and one of them is clear and you can even go inside. You can learn more about this tomb here; https://chikuzen.ed.jp/archaeology/cultural05.html

I continued on up the mountain and stopped on the top for a break. I hiked down and decided to visit Yasunosato Park 安の里公園 on the way back to the bus and sat by the river for a while. It was good to go back to Togamidale and I forgot how nice the hike is.
