Rainy season hiking: Wakamatsu and the Ajisai park at Takatoyama 高塔山・石峰山・烽火台山・松崎山

Today I headed out for more rainy season hiking. I decided to visit the popular Hydrangea spot at Takatoyama park in Wakamatsu. The last time I hiked here was more than 5 years ago. The Ajisai park is free of charge to visit. I started at Wakamatsu station and hiked directly up to Takatoyama park. I used some disused paths which were grown over with Ajisai plants and fallen trees. The view point at the point was good and it looked over the cloudy water to Mt. Sarakura covered in clouds. I spent some time walking around the many Ajisai plants before continuing on to Ishimineyama through the forest. I found some nice butterflies on the grassy summit and then hiked down to Fujinoki station. Can't wait to do more rainy season hikes!

アジサイが咲いていますので若松区の高塔山に行きます。2年前,ほとんど同じコースを歩きました、けど今回、若松駅じゃなくて戸畑駅からスタートしました。戸畑のパン屋さんとフェリーに行ってから山登りの始まりでした。 福岡県超低山100: 45/100 福岡県の前登山した山あと残り... 4座 6月のバッジゲット!
