camp & tramp 🏕️ 森ノ塚山
Start/finish: Omagari bus stop 🚌 I went camping with my family at the Ikenoyama Campsite in Hoshino Village, Yame City. 🏕️ Unfortunately, there were no YAMAP summit markers within walking distance from the campground. It seemed odd because the campground is surrounded by beautiful mountains. ⛰️ We did climb up to the observatory in the area. Through the big telescope we were able look at the planet Venus and see the corona spots on the Sun. 🔭 the observatory doubles as a museum and a planetarium so it’s a fun place to visit. 👍 After camping for two nights, it was time to head home. On the way back I hopped off the bus and went for a climb up Morinonotsukayama. It was pretty easy going up the NTT access road, but once you reach the tower it becomes a scratchy tramp through the woods. As a bonus, I got a lot of spider webs in my hair for souvenirs 🕸️ 😜 🕷️ 家族と八女市星野村の池の山キャンプ場へキャンプに行きました。🏕️キャンプ場から歩ける距離にYAMAPの山頂マーカーがなくて残念でした。まわりはきれいな山なのに、ちょっと不思議でした。⛰️ 近くの天文台には登りました。大きな望遠鏡で金星と太陽のコロナが見えました。🔭 ミュージアムとプラネタリウムもある楽しい場所です。👍 2泊して、家に戻りました。帰りにバスを降りて、森ノ塚山 に登りました。NTTの管理用道路は歩きやすかったですが、電波塔から先は草木が生い茂る山道でした。お土産にクモの巣がたくさん髪につきました。 🕸️ 😜 🕷️
