Tobainiriguchi bus stop 🚎 Koshikan Kojo-mae bus stop 🚌 It was a full day with a mix of road hiking and woods walking. There were some fantastic shrines and a beautiful temple along the way. When I reached the summit of Oniharayama, I followed 縦走のyoshi san’s route to Gongenyama. His shortcut was on a quiet country road with lots of shade, perfect for warm weather hiking. Once I reached the summit of Gongenyama I veered off and took a shortcut down the mountain through the woods. It was a relief to reach the forest road. The final destination of the day was the wonderful Tō Shō Ka onsen in Kumakawa onsen town. They have a big stone outdoor bath with maple trees in a Japanese garden setting. There’s even a waterfall bath. The indoor baths are really nice too. ロードと森歩きを組み合わせた、充実した一日でした。途中で素敵な神社や、美しいお寺を巡りました。鬼原山の山頂からは、縦走のyoshi さんのルートで権現山へ。木陰の多い田舎道は涼しくて、暑い日のハイキングに最高でした！権現山の山頂からは森のショートカットを通り、林道へ下りました。最後は熊川温泉の「湯招花」へ。日本庭園の露天風呂には楓や大きな石があり、打たせ湯や内湯も素晴らしかったです。
