Nestled within the Rokkadake mountain range—a chain of 24 peaks—lies a rare site featuring a grove of over 50 coast redwoods (*Sequoia sempervirens*), a species known for growing to some of the greatest heights in the world. Gazing up at these towering trees offers a sense of scale that belies the mountain's modest elevation. The "Rokkadake Exploration Team" maintains the hiking trails, rest areas, and signage in the area.
