Fudō Myōō and the eight Great Dragon Kings are enshrined at Shintaki. There is a small rock shrine behind the waterfall, and so it is called an “Uramitaki” as the waterfall can be seen from behind. There is a rock cave near the waterfall, which is a sacred place for pilgrims to stay and engage in ascetic practice.
