There is a large log house along National Route 241 that connects Lake Akan and Ashoro Town. It is a drive-in "Black Woodpecker" that has set up a shop in this place since 1998. The interior of the store is fired with a wood stove and has a warm atmosphere unified with a wooden interior. Most of the interior was done by the owner himself. In addition, Meakandake seen from the window is as beautiful as a painting cut out with a frame. The popular "hamburger steak" and the "fried shrimp set meal" containing three large shrimp are very satisfying for men. The dessert cheesecake is also a gem with many repeaters. One of the attractions is the conversation with the shopkeeper who values "Ichigoichikai". Why don't you stop by as a memory of your trip and on your way home from mountain climbing?
