Daizokyojiyama is located on the border between Kofu City and Fuefuki City (formerly Isawa Town, Higashi Yashiro County) in Yamanashi Prefecture, and is located at the southern end of the Okuchichibu Mountains. The altitude is 715.6 meters. One of the 100 famous mountains in Yamanashi and the famous mountains in Kofu.
It is a mountain that can be seen just north of Isawa Onsen Station on the JR Chuo Main Line, and is named after the Shingon sect Chiyama school temple Daizokyoji at the foot of the mountain. Although it is a low altitude mountain, it has a good view of the night view because it borders the northern edge of the Kofu basin.
The mountain trail was a mountain that could be easily climbed, such as dirt and gravel roads, but it was constructed on a concrete road along with the north exit of Isawa Onsen Station, and an observatory overlooking Isawa Onsen was also set up. ..
It takes about 20 minutes from the entrance of the mountain trail next to Okurakyoji to pass through the bird and beast guard gate, and it takes about 30 minutes to reach the scenic spot. Yes (with rocky road and rope maintenance).
