Kiyomozusan is a good mountain near my hometown. I believe Kiyomizudera has interesting atmosphere (number of statues or so). If you have enough power to walk (next time), I recommend you to take a rest at Dairiki Udon noodle restaurant along the route 209. You can enjoy udon noodle with 180~ yen.

I hadn’t known the mountain which is the same name of “Kiyomizu-temple “in Kyoto before I read your comment. I know you are interesting in the Kyusyu ,
though if you have a chance, could you visit Kansai region because we have so nice and beautiful trails including Kiyomizuzaka-temple area!

Yeah, I kept getting Kyoto when I searched on Google! Actually I visited that Shrine in Kyoto 15 years ago! I will get out of Kyushu more in the future. Hope to go to every area one day.
