Hello!
I’ve never been there. But I had searched any one-way (go-through) trail using public traffic. I found some but it’s very inconvenient. At Iizuka St. we can take Nishitetsu bus to Nishitetsuookuma stop. Then we get on Kaho bus to Umamiyama camping site. But this line is absent on Sat. or Sun.! Or we can start at Koishihara bus stop (from Haki). The bus comes only once two hours!

Thank you for your research. The transport on the Iizuka side is very bad. It may be better to start from there and end in Akizuki. The hike from Akizuki to Heizan is worth it alone though, the forest is ancient and beautiful. I particularly like the box wood forest on Koshosan.
