Mount Kannonmine Hiking

I went to Mitarai Valley to view some Autumn Leaves and I was not disappointed at all. The view was spectacular as one would imagine, high hills and multi-colored tress. I could not record the bit from 天川川合バス停 Tenkawakawai Bus stop (Google maps has the bus stop name as Amakawakawai but I have suggested an edit) to 観音峯山登山口 (Mt. Kannon mine Entrance). It took us almost 2 hours for that bit of around 4.5 kilometer but we stopped multiple times to take pictures. If you just stop occasionally to take a couple of pictures, you can do it in around 1 hour. After that, I could record properly. The route until 観音峯展望台 (Kannonmine Observatory) is well marked and you can find your path easily. It is not difficult but you just keep on climbing with minimal flat route. Absolute beginner can do it too. But if you wish to go further, then you need to have a map as the route is not well marked and path is completely covered in leaves. Some places are tricky and slippery. I would not suggest that part for absolute beginners unless you are with someone experienced. After you reach 法力峠 (Horiki Pass), the path is clear and easier to navigate as well as walk. Good luck and enjoy Japanese Autumn.
