My original plan was to use this course as a workout bike-ride, but instead it turned-into an exploration/discovery of the temples & shrines of the mountain range & periphery. This type of outing is one of my favorite as I never know what lies around the next corner and what is hidden amid the forest & bush, as the many photos will show. The mountain is a popular destination for cyclists as it requires some fitness to ascend, regardless of what direction you come from. I must apologize for the poor mapping as the G.P.S. signal is quite week in the area.
