This ride commenced (at Oyamazaki) & finished (at Takatsuki) on the Yodogawa River Cycleway, and took me up and around the eastern base of (Mt)Ponponyama. It took me through some quaint & isolated settlements, like Kawakubo. I explored some isolated shrines & temples, like Hayao-jinja, Hozan-ji, Hiyoshi-jinja. I also took a few detours to explore some isolated mountain summits, like (Mt)Mukodaniyama 478.2m plus a couple with no names. This trip reminded me, as if I need reminding, how beautiful and how scenic Japan really is. Again my thanks go-out to the guys at 'YAMAP'.
