I heard that the Autumn leaves were at their peak at Kamado shrine so I decided to do this hike. I have done the full hike for a long time so I wanted to do something to clear my head and purge all negativity. I started at Dazaifu station and looked around Tenman gu before continuing up to Kamado shrine. The colours there were amazing. The trees were ablaze with rich reds and furious oranges. After spending time enjoying the colours I continued on up to Mt. Homan. It was busy at the top so I didn't bother staying too long I pushed on to Mt. Sangun. I thought I should take more breaks when I hike so I stopped for lunch and a proper rest there. I continued on to Wakasugiyama taking another short break at Toishiyama. The route is wonderful and very relaxing to hike. Arriving at the Wakasugi view point which looks over the whole mountain range I had just hiked is awe inspiring. It is one of the best views in Fukuoka. I finally arrived at the summit of Wakasugi. I asked google "Hey google, what time is sunset?" it told me the sunset was 17:11. Time to get a move on and reach Sasaguri station. I made it to the town before sunset so I didn't need to use my head lamp. The moon was fully out as I reached the station.
