Today I continued my hike of Harumine Hikosan trail. I took a bus from Amagi station up to Notori in Akizuki and followed the ancient road up to Koshosan. The route up to Koshosan is always changing. The rain causes more landslides and debris making the trail up never quite the same each time I climb. Luckily the water level was low so it wasn't a difficult hike on this day. After reaching Koshosan I continued on to Heizan. Unfortunately the weather was quite cloudy and even rained a little at the start. Due to the weather the views were a little grey but it was still nice. On the way back I took a side route through a primeval forest. After a little while on this route a large deer jumped onto the trail in front of me. I noticed that there was actually a family of three all staring at me. It is always a joy to see wildlife when hiking. I hiked down through Notori back into Akizuki and took a bus back to Amagi onsen.
