I was in this area last Friday, June 24th, on that occasion on two wheels, to check-out a couple of tracks with the possibility of returning and exploring more of the area. One of the tracks, the descent down to the Kansai Mail Line, caused me some anxiety. But, thanks to Amphinomidae's hike - https://yamap.com/activities/15262628 - I felt confident I could achieve my goal. My plan was to get-out of bed early, have breakfast, then get on the road to Kamo. I woke-up at 1:25am, and was on the road 2:20am, arriving at Kamo Station in time to catch the 5:30am train to Kasagi, the purpose to be back at my bike and on my way home before the extreme heat.
