Kyushu Olle Kirishima Myoken Course

On day 2 of my Southern Kyushu Escape, I walked Kyushu Olle Kirishima Myoken Course for the second time. This is the area where Japanese hero Ryoma Sakamoto took his bride Oryo-san on what is said to be Japan's first honeymoon. The course starts at the Myoken onsen (spa) area and takes you through the mountains and nature of the area to the finish at yet another onsen, Shiobitashi Onsen. After walking this Olle course I visited Kirishima Shrine to continue from around lunch time with the climb of Mt. Takachihonomine, which unfortunately didn't turn out the way I expected.
